Sign Up Here!
Throughout each month we partner with various organizations throughout the community to help those in need. Opportunities range from helping pack or distribute food items for just a few hours to helping prepare a meal or two. See below for a brief overview of the opportunities and click the button above to sign up!
Mobile Food Pantry: This outreach partners with the Georgia Mountain Food Bank to distribute food to 100's of local families experiencing food scarcity. We do this on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday's of each month.
Salvation Army Dinner: This Serve Team partners with the Salvation Army Homeless Shelter to serve dinner to men, women and families that are homeless. They prepare a home cooked meal for about 40 people and have devotions together after dinner.
Good News at Noon Breakfast: Come serve breakfast and devotions to men and women experiencing homelessness right here in our city. We prepare a home cooked breakfast for about 40-50 people and have devotions together after breakfast.
Good Samaritan Food Pantry: This serve team serves at the Good Samaritan Ministries Food Pantry helping families experiencing food insecurity. They pack and serve boxes of food and have the opportunity to pray people in their time of need.
Georgia Mountain Food Bank: This Serve Team meets at the Georgia Mountain Food Bank to help package the food we distribute at our monthly mobile food outreaches.
My Sister's Place Boutique: My Sister's Place is a homeless shelter that serves single women and women with children in Hall County. This Serve Team sorts through donations that come in to the My Sister's Place Resale Boutique which raises much needed funds for the shelter.
Anti-Human Trafficking: Join us as we reach out to men, women, and families in high-risk areas of Gainesville. We bring the gospel, along with free breakfast, and pray with people we meet. We disciple those who've put their faith in Jesus to be a light in their own community, and point them to the many resources available depending on their need. We mostly minister in Gainesville, with additional opportunities to serve in greater Atlanta with partners such as Frontline Response (formerly the Atlanta Dream Center), Out of Darkness, and Beautiful Feet Ministries. We focus intensely on outreach as well as mentoring women as they move from exploitative situations into their programs. Nearly 1,500 women have been served through the Out of Darkness Safe home!
