Prison Ministry

Free Chapel's Prison Ministry extends to various correctional facilities, aiming to bring hope and spiritual support to those incarcerated. Our ministry spans across multiple state prisons, including Metro Reentry Prison, Hays State Prison, Whitworth Women's Facility, Phillips State Prison, and Phillips State Transitional Center. Additionally, we are actively engaged with local facilities, such as Hall County Jail, Hall County Correctional Institute, and Hall County RYDC (Regional Youth Detention Center). See below for information regarding each facility we partner with.

 

Serving in the Prison Ministry means you will assist in conducting a simulated live service using one of Pastor Jentezen's messages that will be viewed on screen through the different facilities. If you are interested in joining our mission, fill out our Prison Ministry serve team interest form by clicking here. Atlanta Metro Reentry

1301 Constitution Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30316

 

Service Time is Every Thursday from 5:00pm-7:30pm

 

There is a shuttle that meets at Free Chapel Gainesville at 2:45 PM.

We also have a pick-up location at 1055 Old Peachtree Rd NW, Lawrenceville, GA 30043, at 3:15 PM for those who live in that area. The shuttle will take them to the Metro Reentry Prison and bring them back. They also have the option to drive directly to the prison facility if they do not want to ride the shuttle.

Hays State Prison

Address: 777 Underwood Dr Trion, GA 30753)

 

Service Time Every Wednesday 10:00am-11:30am

 

There is a shuttle that meets at Free Chapel Gainesville at 7:00 AM.

The shuttle will take them to the Hays State Prison and bring them back to Free Chapel Gainesville.

They also have the option to drive directly to the prison facility if they do not want to ride the shuttle.

Whitworth Women's Facility

414 Valley Hart Rd Hartwell, GA 30643.

 

Service Time Every Wednesday, from 6:00pm-8:00pm

 

There is a shuttle that meets at Free Chapel Gainesville at 3:15pm and will bring them back to Free Chapel Gainesville.

They also have the option to drive directly to the prison facility if they do not want to ride the shuttle.

Phillips State Prison

Service Time Every Monday at 3pm-5pm

 

There is no shuttle for this facility.

Phillips State Transitional Center

Service Time Every Monday at 7:00pm-8:30pm

Hall County Jail

Service Time Every Sunday at 8:15am-10:15am and 10:30-12:15 am.

 

There is no shuttle for this facility.

Hall County Correctional Institution

1694 Barber Rd, Gainesville, GA 30507

 

Service Time 2nd, 4th, 5th Sunday at 7:00pm-8:30pm

 

There is no shuttle for this facility.

Free Chapel is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). Founded in 1979, ECFA has more than 1,500 leading Christian nonprofit organizations as members. When a ministry has the ECFA seal, its donors can know that the organization’s “financial house” is in order and can see where their resources are going.
